At Blue Water Sailing School, we take every precaution to ensure your safety during our live-aboard cruising courses. Unfortunately accidents and illnesses, flight delays and family emergencies can still cause expensive interruptions to your plans.

Protect Your Investment

We recommend our students protect their education investment by purchasing travel insurance. Depending on the policy you chose, travel insurance can reimburse you for losses caused by:

How to Get Travel Insurance

Contact your insurance agent to ask about travel insurance plans. If your regular insurance company doesn’t offer them, you can still get coverage through another company’s specialized services.

After experience with several insurers and programs, we recommend TravelGuard from AIG. They offer several different plans at reasonable rates, as well as optional add-ons that let you tailor your coverage to your specific needs.
